The Mid-Atlantic Juvenile Defender Center together with the National Center for Family Law, the Virginia Indigent Defense Commission, the Virginia Juvenile Justice Association, and JustChildren is co-sponsoring the 13th annual Juvenile Law and Education Conference, “Representing the Whole Child.” The conference will be Friday, May 16th 2008 from 8:30 – 4:30 at the University of Richmond School of Law. 5.0 CLE credits (1.0 Ethics) are expected to be awarded for this program. The evening before the conference, Thursday, May 15th, from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm, there will be a screening of “Girl Trouble” with a panel discussion on the issues of girls in the juvenile justice system and a reception to follow.
